The most delicious coconut water is organic Kokovita
Coconut water is not the same as coconut milk
Our organic coconut water from Kokovita comes from the heart of Thailand in a select area surrounded by two of the largest rivers in Thailand.
Coconut water is produced naturally in the coconut and contains nearly 93 to 98 percent water and very little fat. It should not be confused with coconut milk, which is made by adding tap water to grated and completely finely ground coconut meat. Coconut milk contains about 10 to 50 percent coconut fat depending on how much tap water is added. It takes about 10 to 12 months for coconuts to mature completely. Coconut water comes from young coconuts. For coconut milk, one uses ripe coconuts.
The most delicious coconut water is called Kokovita
Our organic coconut water from Kokovita comes from the heart of Thailand in a select area surrounded by two of the largest rivers in Thailand. We deliberately chose the very tastiest coconuts: the Nam Hom variety. "Nam Hom" coconut is unique in the world for its special fragrance and sweetness.
The combination of abundant rainfall, fertile soil rich in essential minerals and year-round sunshine makes this area a unique place and gives our Nam Hom coconuts that wonderfully delicious taste.

Its simply pure, in its original coconut and completely unprocessed. That’s Kokovita coconut water. So what are the benefits? We retain the natural protection of the coconut so that the coconut water it contains is naturally aseptic and raw. That means the flavour and fragrance are perfectly retained, and you can taste the difference too.
Kokovita coconut water is an easy to open coconut
Thanks to the patented easy-to-open system, you can drink our coconut water just like you drink a can of soda. The easy-to-open mechanism is made of coconut fibre and resin. You can now enjoy your coconut water wherever you are – just remove the tab, insert the supplied straw into the coconut… and enjoy! Fresh coconut water, just like you and Mother Nature intended. Say goodbye to knives and any other dangerous tool you use to get inside the coconut!
Why does Kokovita wrap its organic coconuts in film?
Each coconut is wrapped by a micro-perforated, anti-condensation high-tech film made of polyolefin, material that is completely recyclable. The high-tech film around the coconut uses 92% less plastic than a PET bottle.
Kokovita coconut water is contained in young coconuts. Full of fresh water, minerals and vitamins and with a jelly-like flesh. At this stage, the shell is very porous and the coconut continues to breathe. The film protects the coconut water from fermentation. The respiratory capacity is reduced so that the fresh water does not become acidic until its expiration date, if kept below 7°C.
In addition, the film protects the coconut from external contamination. The high-tech film prevents the growth of fungi on the coconut shell, thus avoiding the use of terrible chemicals commonly used to preserve and transport fresh coconuts.
Why is the Kokovita coconut placed on a cardboard ring?
The cardboard ring serves to protect the weak spots in the bottom of the coconut from impacts during transport. The bottom of the coconut is the most sensitive part of the coconut. The cardboard ring facilitates consumption by giving stability to the coconut and allows us to display information such as nutritional values, expiration date, certifications, and so on. The cardboard ring is made of recyclable materials.
Kokovita coconuts come with a straw
In 2018 is het rietje van polypropyleen. Reeds recycleerbaar.
